Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris may have given an impression that their breakup is amicable but a recent report said that it is actually the Scottish DJ who pulled the plug first.

"A few weeks ago she was talking about marrying him," a source said referring to Tay's fierce love for her beau.

Since their relationship started last year, tabloids have also been speculating of wedding bells soon for Hollywood's most highly-paid couple. However, it was not realized until they split up after 15 months of dating.

"Calvin really liked Taylor, she was not the type of girl he ever dates and he liked that. He liked how innocent Taylor was and that she had a good caring heart," another source said.

Things, however, started to change in recent months as the music producer is rumored to have lost interest to the Blank Space singer.

Taylor's heart was more in it then he was. He started to lose interest over the past few months, but really tried to not just break up."

In the hacked Twitter account of Tay's dancers: Scott Myrick and Mallauri Esquibel, it was also found out that the Shake It Off singer has considered Calvin (real name is Adam Wiles) as 'the one' for her.

"It's the way you felt when you met the one <3," the award-winning singer said in their exchange.

Tabloids, however, are left with scanty information showing the real cause of the split except for Harris' Twitter message saying, "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect."

Meanwhile, both Taylor and Calvin acted normally after the split announcement.

The Blame hitmaker was spotted this week amidst a crowd of sexy girls in a sold-out Wet Republic party at MGM Grand without any sign of heartache or injury from his previous accident.

Taylor Swift, on the other hand, sang Blank Space to a New Jersey wedding of her fans Max Singer and Kenya Smith.
