Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is reportedly set for an August 3 launch according to latest leaked update swirling across rumor land. The said date for the release of the succeeding Galaxy Note flagship is earlier than expected.

As per Times of India, reputable tipster Evan Blass has revealed the scheduled release via tweet based on insider leaks. Samsung has not yet released any official statement on the rumored launch but the date is more or less close to the August 13 release date of Galaxy Note 5 last year.

Other speculations point to a possible launch in late August due to the upcoming IFA 2016 scheduled for a September 2 kickoff. Samsung's track record on product releases, however, is not exactly consistent since Note 5 was unveiled just two months earlier than the previous model's release date. Galaxy S7 was also launched a month prior to the highly expected date, Gotta Be Mobile reported. Farfetched predictions also suggest that the Galaxy Note 6 will released once Google rolls out its new Android N update.

Meanwhile, Irish Examiner suggests that the Galaxy Note 6 could be possibly armed with the latest DRAM chip after Samsung's latest adoption of the next-generation memory according to the company's Mobile Solution Forum in China. On the surface, the sixth edition of the Note lineup will have a 5.8-inch screen display. Under the hood is a new Snapdragon 823 processor, 64GB internal memory and 6GB of RAM.

For the phablet's camera technology, PCTablet indicated that the Galaxy Note 6 will integrate the BRITECELL Technology to enhance the camera's shooting capability under low-light conditions. The handset is also rumored to sport a 12MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera found in the Galaxy S7 flagship.

All the rumored specs and features remain unconfirmed until Samsung releases an official statement sometime before the end of July.
