Kpop News: BIGBANG and iKON confirmed to attend a music festival in Japan

Popular groups from YG Entertainment: BIGBANG and iKON confirmed to be performing at the largest music festival in Japan which is the "a-nation".

Record label YG Entertainment stated that BIGBANG and iKON will be participating on the very first day of the event. The festival is set to take place on August 27-28 at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG is preparing for their grand celebration in commemoration for their 10th year Anniversary being an icon. The "King of K-pop" is slated to have a film as a special treat for the fans. It will hit theaters on June 30.

And the group iKON just recently dropped their latest single "WYD". After wrapping up their series of promotions for their debut album "Welcome Back" that was released at the end of last year, this newest single is another kickoff of the group's music.

The group has been also busy with their "iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR." They have been meeting a lot of fans within their tour in Asia. The tour visited South Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. It started on 30 and 31 January 2016 in Seoul at Olympic Gymnastics Arena as their debut concert, they successfully gathered 24,000 fans in total attendance. Their next tour will be in Shenzhen, China on June 3, to be followed by Shanghai on June 11. iKON will wrap up their Asian tour within the second half of the year in Malaysia and Indonesia.
