MacBook Pro 2016 News & Update: New MacBook Pro Not Arriving in June; Will Come Equipped with Built-in Cellular Connectivity and Touch ID

Latest reports indicate that the based on popular demand for cellular connectivity, the tech giant may heed the collective call of its customers and provide them the additional feature. Apple was recently granted 55 new patents that includes the rumored built-in cellular connectivity. The patent is called the "Electronic device with dual clutch barrel cavity antennas."

The patent was filed by Apple last year and it is possible that the feature may be launched in the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. However, sources say that for this feature to be incorporated in MacBook, this year's launch date may be too soon.

Not only will the new MacBook pro feature the potential built-in cellular connectivity, but it is also expected to include the Touch ID support and OLED screen. According to the reports, this feature will allow the Apple users with their ApplePay transactions.

Apart from that, MacBook Pro is also speculated to be the thinnest and also the most economical laptop in the market. To make it more affordable, Apple will launch their newest range of MacBook with a discounted price.

It was initially speculated that MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016 will launch in June this year. However, per latest reports, the laptops will not arrive before the fourth quarter. Hence, it will not be unveiled at WWDC next month.
