In season 3 finale of "The Originals," Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) was enraged with the Mikaelsons after the death of Davina. In hit fit of fury, he bit Elijah and Kol, bringing serious trouble to the family. The reports indicate that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will save the Mikaelsons and that she might be able to find an ally to achieve her objective.

Michael Narducci, executive producer of "The Originals, said that Hayley's next moves were hinted in the finale episode. However, he refused to divulge further details but added that Hayley may take help from a witch to save the Mikaelsons in the next season.

"I don't want to say too much, but I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that Hayley will look to find a way - either by using her own vampire power or by using a witch - to try to communicate with [everyone in the dream world]," he told TV Line. "She has a giant puzzle to figure out in order to cure everyone, and given that they're dying from a wolf bite, I think you can guess who she might turn to."

Meanwhile, Hayley and Marcel are the only two who reached till the end of season 3 finale. As the Mikaelsons slip into deep slumber, Marcel finally gets an opportunity to avenge Davina's death. Narducci also explains that Marcel is not the villain type. His character has his own rules and he will stand by his standards of peace even if it means executing or punishing the people that he once considered as family.

Narducci added that Marcel is the same guy, only much powerful and stronger. "That is just the most exciting prospect for me, to tell the story of Klaus Mikaelson's heir, who has grown in power and is now the most dangerous creature on the planet," Narducci told TV Guide.

"We're going to watch him take back his city and become king and how will he behave? How will he avoid some of the mistakes that his 'father' [Klaus] made along the way?"
