For frontman Gary Glasberg, his American, crime based series NCIS has been on point ever since it hit off with its debut episode. And since then, the drama has been more ferocious, depicting storylines probably a reflection of the real, nasty world.

But now it is time to bid farewell to the season and especially the very beloved Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. The main charm as well as the character who has been holding it all together is all set to say a heart- wrenching goodbye to his fanatics.

The season finale took a turn when episode titled as Family First was aired on the 17th of May. The chapter highlighted DiNozzo and fans expected to connect the dots as he was soon going to leave for his anonymous daughter by his ex-lover Ziva David.

DiNozzo was seen taking care of his daughter, Tali, as she fortunately got out of the blaze that surprisingly killed her mother. The rest of the team, however, continued with their efforts towards tracking down an ex-CIA agent.

The episode ended with a poignant turn as he gasped, 'I am everything to that little girl now', DiNozzo told his boss Leroy Gibbs. He was seen resigning from the position and geared up to take his girl to Israel.

The tear-soaked episode resulted in the eternal departure of Michael Weatherly from the show. The rock-solid farewell has been a bitter odyssey, yet fans have yet to experience the upcoming 14th season of the marvel.

There has no official announcement regarding the 14th season, but it is speculated that it might make a comeback in September with Duane Henry being a long-lasting participant of the fact-finding team.
