CEO and co-founder Pete Lau has posted a selfie taken from the front camera of the OnePlus 3 on Chinese social networking site Weibo. The resolution of the picture is at 2448x3264p which sums up to 8-megapixel.In the meanwhile, noted tipster Evan Blass also took to Twitter to share a screenshot from the OnePlus 3 running on OxygenOS v3.1.0 based on an Android N preview build which is actually good.

The screenshot revealed that the smartphone might still come with a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080p display powered a Snapdragon 820 SoC, and a 16-megapixel rear camera. Blass also tips that OnePlus would reintroduce NFC which was a major dropped feature in OnePlus 2 which lead to many users including myself to drop out of plans of purchasing one. Separately, a OnePlus customer service representative reportedly let it slip in a live chat that the OnePlus 3 launch event would happen on June 14 which just falls in line with the announced Q2 launch. The employee also confirmed that, even though the event is in VR, users will be able to watch it without a headset as well. OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 3 on a VR space station. It even made available 30,000 Loop VR headsets, which were sold out in no time.

For Indian users, OnePlus will sell the Loop VR headset from June 3 to June 7 on Amazon India, registration for which is now open.
