‘The Bachelorette’ Premiere Review and News Update: JoJo Has a Fabulous Beginning, Gets Her First Kiss
So, the much-anticipates premiere of 'The Bachelorette' aired on Monday and it must be said that the twelfth season is going to be one of the most entertaining seasons.
JoJo Fletcher, the 25-year-old real estate developer from Dallas, started off like a pro. Looks like her experience of 'The Bachelor' and the consequent heartbreak, has taught her a good deal. JoJo looked completely poised and handled every suitor gracefully, no matter how irritating the antics and attitude.
To begin with, three former bachelorettes Desiree Hartsock Siegfried, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Ali Fedotowsky made an appearance and advised the current bachelorette about how to find the right spouse. Then came the turn of the 26 suitors and it was sheer delight to watch the introductions, courtesy the limo arrivals.
Of course, the first arrival stole hearts, not just of viewers but JoJo as well. It was Jordan Rodgers and he was looking super dashing. According to reports, even JoJo complemented him and not once, but about 14 times. That was the time, when everyone realized he is going to be the front-runner. But it would be wrong to say he stole the limelight completely.
Other impressive introductions were Nick B, who arrived dressed as Santa and Jonathan, who came wearing a kilt. Robby was also surprising as he took a swig straightaway from a wine bottle while Sal offered her a shocking gift. He gave her two blue stress balls and took a pun as well.
But this was not all, more entertainment lay ahead in the cocktail party. Will used a fortune teller to get an awkward kiss from JoJo while Nick S and Vinny drank way beyond limit and proved to be total embarrassments. Kudos to JoJo for she handled everything without getting miffed.
Among those who made good impressions were Luke, a Texan who brought her a pair of boots and James Taylor, who was completely adorable. But Jordan was the best and in the end received the first impression rose. It ended with six eliminations and Nick S was one of them.
