Kpop News: Miss A’s Jia separate ways with JYP Entertainment

On May 20, JYP Entertainment announced, "We are informing you about miss A members Jia and Fei's contracts. Jia's contract with JYP Entertainment ended on May 20. We truly give our support to Jia who has been part of JYP Entertainment for a long time and we wish her genuinely hopes and luck for her future endeavors and that she will shine even more."

The agency added, "Fei has recently resigned her contract with JYP Entertainment and will continue ventures in both Korea and China; we will fully support her. miss A will focus on individual activities from now on."

JYP Entertainment also clarifies that Miss A will still be holding on. The agency stated, "Miss A will not disband. It is only Jia that separated from the group. Though there are no plans yet for releasing new albums or comeback activities as of now, the remaining members will dedicate their selves in individual projects.

Miss A debuted as a four-member group formed by JYP Entertainment. Miss A made their official debut on July 1 with their single "Bad Girl Good Girl." The song was taken from their debut single album Bad but Good. Miss A received first place in the on KBS Music Bank, becoming the fastest girl group to take the #1 spot on a music show.
