The film adaptation of the stories covered in the comic world is appreciated by all. The transformation has become common and it is not expected to stop anytime sooner.

For examples, the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) is moving forward with the production of Justice League, while the DC Universe is progressing with a television series.

Now that Supergirl is moving to the CW for its second season, speculations are that a new team could soon be formed for its own TV series. It is being rumored that it could even see that return of the Superman, that is, Tom Welling from Smallville.

Last season, an amazing crossover of the Supergirl took place between CW and CBS. Such crossovers are not just restricted to this show. The Flash often appears on the Arrow and this is making fans wonder whether there will be any more such crossovers in the future.

Well, this might be possible since Supergirl is moving to the CW for Season 2. The production team is heading to Vancouver and a budged cut is expected, but the good thing is that the second season is finally happening.

As of now, CW has Supergirl, Green Arrow, The Flash and the Legends of Tomorrow on their own shows. There could be umpteen number of crossovers between the shows, leading to limitless interesting storylines.

This has further given birth to speculations surrounding the production of a new show based on the Justice League. Or maybe, it will be represented as a continuing storyline across the series running currently.

Recently, an interesting photograph was shared on the Facebook page of Smallville Season 11., which includes a picture of the Supergirl as well.

The picture has received a lot of attention from the fans. While some people have raised the fact that Supergirl is from a different universe, the crossover episode between the Supergirl and The Flash suggests that the story can be written in a way to make the team-up a possibility.
