The new agency of the Korean actor Lee Min Ho exposed further details regarding his mandatory military enlistment. MYM Entertainment stated, "Lee Min Ho will serve as a public service officer but no further thoughts of when he will start his military service. We are considering at an early time next year."

Due to physical injuries acquired by the actor in the past, this concedes the decision why he will serve as a public service officer instead of being an active duty soldier. Lee Min ho acquired leg injury when he was involved in a car accident way back 2006. He had undergone surgical procedures like the insertion of metal screws, though the surgery had no adverse affects on his day to day bases, the metal screws were removed when they are in the process of filming action scenes.

In addition, way back in 2011, Lee Min ho was also involved in another car accident when filming the drama "City Hunter", the situation was a bit worse since the half of the car was destroyed. Lee Min ho's medical results then justified that the actor will serve as a public service officer when he will be enlisted in the mandatory military service.

April of last month, the actor also talked about his military service, he stated, "I don't have any specific plans to when I will be enlisted and I haven't received any enlistment orders yet". Lee Min ho is said to be working on another drama that is expected to air later this year. This will be the last project of the actor before entering the service. (Soompi)

Meanwhile, Lee Min ho's Korean-Chinese collaboration movie "Bounty Hunters" premiere date is being pushed back to July 1.
