The twelfth season of 'Grey's Anatomy' has been a pretty tumultuous one for couples as many had to go through testing times. And the finale will also have showdowns as fissures would erupt between different couples.

According to reports, the finale will have loads of content and the wedding of Amelia and Owen will grab the most screen space. But it won't be a cakewalk either. Amelia is nervous and might freak out as she takes the steps down the aisle. She might develop cold feet and refuse to marry at all.

Actress Caterina Scorsone aka Amelia Shepherd has said that her character is excited after the proposal, but the wedding day would make her doubt her decision. She is not getting the celebration and her expectation of becoming an adult after marriage seems to be shattering.

Meredith is not happy with her either as she feels Amelia took up her husband's position. Her own hook-up will also leave her feeling terrible as Maggie, her half-sister, will be heartbroken when she finds out about their fling. She has a crush on Riggs and the revelation will affect her relationship with Meredith in a big way. Owen will also be angry with Meredith as he hates Riggs and blames him for his sister's death.

As for April and Jackson, the couple will turn over a new leaf and try to mend their relationship. They will put their differences aside. The trailer hints that April will face problems reaching the hospital as she experiences labor pain. And Jackson will have to deliver the child at home. If this happens, they are sure to come close, which fans have been expecting for long. They eagerly await a reunion.

However, things would not play out smoothly for Jo and Alex as she has declined his proposal despite the persuasions. The finale will see them breaking up and the relationship will come to an end. What is more, Jo might lay bare a big secret and it is likely to stun Alex and viewers.
