On May 17, EXID's agency the 'Banana Culture' announced that the girl group will be making its comeback on June 1. This will be the first studio album EXID will make ever since their debut.

The agency revealed, "EXID has been confirmed to make a comeback on June 1 with a full studio album". The girls released their single "Hot Pink" previous year of November.

Banana Culture also added, "EXID already wrapped up their album cover photo shoot and music video filming last week, and now doing some finishing touches on their album. Because this is their first full album since they made their debut, EXID members, and the staff are working dedicatedly for it, so please look forward to it."

Fans are expecting a different album this time since the girls are known for their sense of musical growth. With their hit songs, "Up & Down, "Ah Yeah," and "Hot Pink", these displays the different style that the girls offer to their fans.

"EXID (Exceed in Dreaming) debuted with a five-member group, consist of Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Junghwa. They debuted on February 16, 2012, with the release of "Holla". The quintet released their first EP Hippity Hop in August 2012, but it was met with limited success. Their 2014 single "Up & Down", however, reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after its initial release.

EXID released their next mini-album Ah Yeah on April 13, 2015, with "Ah Yeah" as its lead single. The single also was met with commercial success as it peaked at the runner-up position on the Gaon Singles Chart. EXID's single, "Hot Pink", was released in November 2015. It was a commercial success, being able to top musical charts."
