Katherine Heigl is all set to make a return to the small screen with her new legal drama, 'Doubt'. Katherine's character Sadie Ellis is a successful defense lawyer who gets attracted and falls for a client facing accusation of a brutal crime.

The plot of the drama series may not seem unique as the drama series is not developed from scratch. The show has been re-improvised from its previous creation as it failed to make a mark. The characters of the show has been tweaked a bit with Katherine replacing KaDee, who would be joined by Dreama Walker, Kobi Libii, Laverne Cox and others in the show.

According to reports, this would be a re-union of Katherine with the writer and producers of 'Grey Anatomy' John Rater and Tony Phelan, who have produced and scripted Doubt as well.

Katherine is not a newbie in the television arena who shot into fame by the virtue of her characterization in the 'Grey Anatomy' followed by her role in the political drama 'State of Affairs.' Katherine has been involved in certain 'not so pleasant' incidents as well when she made the headlines after criticizing the writers of 'Grey Anatomy' for not giving her quality content to contest for the 'Emmy award'. She, however, later acknowledged the fact that her rendition was not the most polite.

This led to Katherine quitting 'Grey Anatomy' in the year 2010, and she focused more on films and family. Katherine did make several on-screen appearance from a tender age in movies like 'My Father the Hero,' and 'Roswell' but she shot into the filming fraternity with her role in 'Grey Anatomy'.

Unfortunately, her stay with the 'Grey Anatomy' was not an easy ride due to the several renditions of the actress being rigid and 'difficult to work with'. She claims her exit from 'Grey Anatomy' to be a massive stepping stone for her career ahead.
