When it was announced that Hayden Panettiere's hit ABC series "Nashville" would get canceled, she disclosed that she will be getting treated for the second time during her ongoing battle with postpartum depression.

She had welcomed daughter Kaya Evdokia Dec. 9, 2014, with her boxer fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, but exactly ten months later, she "voluntarily" got admitted to a treatment centre for her depression.

The 26-year-old admits that she is feeling the symptoms of another kind of illness.

"The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life," she tweeted  yesterday. "Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take the time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!"

She is being treated in Utah, said sources.

When Juliette Barnes, the character she played in "Nashville" suffered postpartum depression, Panettiere said in a September 2015 "Live! with Kelly and Michael" interview, that she shared the emotions.

"I can very much relate. It's something a lot of women experience," she said. "When [you're told] about postpartum depression, you think it's 'I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child' - I've never, ever had those feelings. Some women do.... Women need to know that they're not alone and that it does heal."

She added: "There's a lot of misunderstanding - there's a lot of people out there that think that it's not real, that it's not true, that it's something that's made up in their minds, that 'Oh, it's hormones.' They brush it off. It's something that's completely uncontrollable. It's really painful and it's really scary and women need a lot of support."

She has been an actor since she was a child. But she slipped into depression again when ABC declared that her TV series "Nashville" would stop after four seasons. The country music drama's finale would be telecast on May 25, 2016.
