Kdrama News: ‘Entertainer’ to be extended for one week

Korean drama 'Entertainer' or 'Ddanddara' is confirmed by SBS to be extended for a week. Originally, the drama will have 16 totals of episodes but it was recently confirmed that 2 more episodes will be added.

A representative stated, "The reports that there were discussions to extend 'Entertainer' are true. It has been confirmed that it will be extended by two episodes. We hope you will have interest and watch."

An affiliate of "Entertainer" commented, "Following the development of the story of the Ddanddara Band becoming whole, there have been many requests from viewers for a story about the band's bright and hopeful story about their growth. We decided to extend because of this. The producers, cast, and everyone will do their best to make a solid story and sympathetic story." Soompi reported.

'Entertainer' is a 2016 South Korean television series starring Ji Sung, Lee Hyeri, Kang Min-hyuk and Chae Jung-an. It airs on SBS on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 18 episodes, beginning April 20, 2016.

Shin Suk Ho (Ji Sung) worked for the biggest entertainment company as a director, but he is now the CEO of a new and tiny entertainment company. He gathers people to form a band. Through various incidents, Shin Suk Ho becomes a real and successful manager.

'Entertainer' is scheduled to air every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 pm KST.
