The fans are now eagerly waiting for "The Winds of Winter" book for years. However, despite the growing anticipation, there is no official word about the book's release. But the recent reports indicate that "the Winds of winter" will be released this month and finally the sixth installment of the popular "A Song of Ice and Fire" will be out on the bookshelves.

Ever since Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 was brought back from the dead, many fans reportedly were ecstatic. However, this great news was dampened by unclear fate of "The Winds of Winter."

But the latest report indicates that as per the update, George RR Martin has been working feverishly towards the completion of "TWOW" so that he can finish the book as soon as possible. In fact, previous reports suggest that celebrity author is refusing any new project until "The Winds of Winter" is finished.

There are also reports claiming that the book will be released this month. If the rumor is true, the long overdue book should hit the bookshelves soon this month. However, for their own benefit, the fans must take the news with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed by the author himself.

For now, George RR Martin has been holding his silence about the book release and its possible release date. However, the fans can expect to hear about "The Winds of Winter" at the Balticon, a science fiction and fantasy convention where arts and literature come together, this month. As per their website, there will be an Ice and Fire feast with author George RR Martin.
