Land Rover Smart Phone Release Date: Land Rover to Launch their first Smartphone

Seems like Lamborghini had set the pace. Now, it's just becoming a competition. In the race to attract the booming global smartphone market, British auto motor brand Jaguar Land Rover which is now currently owned by Tata Motors are planning to release smartphones and accessories for those as early as 2017.

For the same to see that happen, Land Rover has tied up with a consumer electronics company Bullitt Group to develop the smartphones and accessories for them. "Incorporating iconic Land Rover design and innovative technology into the mobile phone sector with Bullitt Group presents an exciting challenge and fantastic opportunity to take the brand into a new dimension," said Lindsay Weaver, director of licensing and branded goods at Jaguar Land Rover, in a statement recently.

"An engineering and design team from Jaguar Land Rover special operations will be assigned to the partnership and subsequently deliver a number of applications tailored to match the standards for the Land Rover brand itself and product values," Weaver said.According to Bullitt Group, the firm will now partner with Land Rover to develop mobile devices and peripherals for Land Rover which will help the brand ascend heights in another commercial terrain. "With a combination of durability and elegance, the new range will be designed to be an active lifestyle partner, aimed at people who like to take on new challenges and go 'above and beyond' the ordinary," said a statement.

Now, this project portfolio if its known clearly is set to launch as early as in 2017 itself and will have the core values of the Land Rover brand which houses amazing innovations and technology. "We are confident the new range of products will perfectly encapsulate everything that Land Rover represents, appealing to those who already love the brand and providing an introduction to those who are yet to discover it," noted Peter Stephens, CEO of Bullitt Group. This is not the only project for Bullitt group. Bullitt Group even in the past have been working with various clients on their tough and rugged smartphones in the past.
