After seeing Jon Snow come back to life, the buzz around third episode was quite high as everyone wanted to know how he would behave.

And here is the explanation behind the title "Oathbreaker". According to reports, it was related to Jon Snow and we saw a welcome change in him. The noble man did not become evil but he did execute his murderers. And the death also freed him from the oath he took while taking charge of the Night's Watch.

As for his parentage, Bran took recourse to his flashback vision and saw the events that unfolded in the Tower of Joy. He saw Ned Stark facing off with the King's guards when he goes there to rescue his sister Lyanna Stark. Ser Arthur Dayne gives them a good fight but one of Ned's companions kills him. Ned proceeds inside the tower and takes up the stairs when the three-eyed raven pulls Bran out of it.

In the meantime, Daenerys meets her fate as she is brought to her new home, inhabited by the widows of the Khal. The unfriendly women strip her and tell her that this situation is not permanent either as a further meeting of the Dotharki will decide if she will stay here.

In Meereen, everything is bleak and disorderly but Varys gets a small success as he meets Vala, the woman who helped the Sons of the Harpy in creating unrest and panic. He threatens her and sends her out of the city. Later he tells Tyrion that the miscreants are being funded by various other slave cities.

In King's Landing, tension builds up as Cersei, Jaime and Gregor walk to the small council, where the Queen of Thorns takes a dig at her. Cersei's pet Qyburn lures Varys' little birds into working for him. King Tommen questions High Sparrow but the latter silences him with his silver tongue.

And our poor Arya gains her sight but she is still tormented by that mean girl. She persists and voila! She can now fight in the dark as well.
