HTC is reportedly planning a separate event for its next flagship, One M9's release in March, instead of taking the stage at CES and MWC events.

There have been a lot of rumors about HTC's next flagship smartphone, Hima aka One M9's release at the CES or MWC event. But it looks like the Taiwanese tech giant has different plans in mind. A tweet from popular mobile tipster, @Upleaks, claims that HTC will host a separate launch event to release the One M9 smartphone instead of sharing the stage with other manufacturers at CES 2015 or MWC 2015 in January and March, respectively, GSM Arena reported.

The upcoming HTC smartphone has garnered immense attraction from smartphone watchers, mainly for its high-end features like a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB Ram, 20.7MP and a 2,840mAh battery. The HTC One M8-successor is said to feature a 5-inch Full HD display, Android Lollipop and Sense UI 7.0 on top of it. Hosting a separate launch event for the flagship release isn't surprising as HTC did the same earlier this year when it released the HTC One M8. The 2014-flagship smartphone also missed both CES and MWC events this year in favor of a separate premier in March. Either ways, the company will have a new product launch during the Q1 2015. If it is following the traditional release pattern, the One M9 smartphone may go on sale immediately after the launch. But nothing is official yet. Other than the high-end technical specifications, newly leaked report suggests the HTC One M9 smartphone will arrive in gray, silver and gold hues, same like the HTC One M8.
