'The Division' News & Updates: Game Marred by Glitches and Cheating

"The Division" players have reportedly pointed out several cheating and glitch issues. Following which Ubisoft Massive revealed that they are taking necessary measures to solve the issues. "We are aware that Daily Missions are missing once again today," the official "The Division" account on Twitter stated. "A permanent solution to this recurring problem is being looked into."

 

According to the reports, third-person shooter players have noticed that the it is common for the daily missions to be missing from the game. The problems in the game started emerging after mid-April 2016. Even though a patch, 1.1, was released but it had issues of its own.

The game developers acknowledged the issue and reassured that they are looking for a permanent solution to the problem. Ubisoft also offered compensation for the missings daily missions. Similar kind of benefits will be offered to the gamers until a permanent solution comes by.

A Reddit user, TigeroftheWind, checked a source code and revealed that the game programmers incorrectly entered the date as Apr. 31, 2016, a date that does not exist on the calendar and thus resulting the missing missions. Ubisoft is expected to provide a quick fix to the issue so that the players can continue playing the Daily Missions.

Meanwhile, the other issue plaguing the game are the cheating problems. To counter the cheating, Ubisoft provided measures to counter the issue and also laid out penalties for those who are caught breaking the game rules. There is also a new detection system to point out players who use cheat engines. The players that are caught cheating will be suspended for 14 days for the first instance and the ones that continue to cheat will be permanently banned from the game.
