Ben Affleck must have had a hard time after all the criticism he had to face after the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, the actor recently signed up as the executive producer for the Justice League movies.

The release of the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice witnessed a lot of criticism for both the actor and director, Zack Synder. While the movie was still able to rake in over $864 million from around the world, the fans long demanded removal of the director from any future projects by DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

Despite all the criticism, Synder gets to keep his position as the director of the Justice League movies, according to reports. Affleck, on the other hand, has been signed up as an executive producer, which is quite a good news for the Justice League movie fans.

With power, comes great responsibility. Affleck will now be responsible for not only playing the lead role in front of the camera, but also control and foresee how things work out behind the camera. The critics are firm that Affleck would now like to ensure that everything goes right with the future Justice League movies.

As of now, Affleck plans to build a DC Comics Superhero team that is talented enough to compete with Marvel's Avengers at the box office. Recruiting Affleck as an executive producer on board is considered to be a smart move by Warner Bros., as the company seems to know the actor's potential and skills to make things right.

Affleck is also speculated to play the role of a supporter to Synder. Affleck may want Synder to know that he has his support, despite all the criticism and negative comments that he had to face after Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice failed to impress the fans who were waiting desperately for the movie to release.
