Fans of the much-loved character- Dr. Cristina Yang, played by Sandra Oh in "Grey's Anatomy" can rejoice as the actress is pondering about a comeback.

Though nothing can be said with certainty, there are hints that she is not averse to a comeback and has taken a "never-say-never" attitude towards her return. However, according to reports, Kevin McKidd has said that the expert doctor has returned to the show for Derek's funeral and there is also a still photo of her with Meredith in the graveside.

Well, Sandra has not said anything about this appearance and she is busy in stage work and independent projects. And she has got support from the rest of the cast of the ABC show for what she is doing. But they also wish her to return to Grey Sloan.

As for Sandra, she has reportedly said that she loved her stint on the show and feels that she did her best to portray the character. It was only after playing it out to the fullest did she decide to move on. She expressed her gratefulness to producer Shonda Rhimes (the creator of Cristina's character) who has kept the doors open for her return.

She confirmed her interest in returning for the series finale, but she did not want to get involved in the revival of the character as a regular. If this is what she wants, then her entry will take a long time. The medical drama is in its twelfth season and the next season has been announced which means the audience will have to wait for one more year.

It may be mentioned here that Cristina Yang was one of the most-loved characters on the show. Her career graph at Grey Sloan was truly exceptional and the audience really loved the way she grew and matured, season after season. She left the show after season 10 but her character had become so popular that fans could never let her go.

And now it looks like they will finally see their iconic doctor on screen as she comes to wrap up the finale of the equally iconic series.
