"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is all set to air its final episode titled "The Convergence Convergence." Even though the CBS network has renewed the show for its 10th season, rumor has it that this will be its last season. Kaley Cuoco is also set to bid her character adieu after the tenth, presumably the last, season of TBBT.

Only two more episodes to go for Season 9 to come to an end after which the popular show will take a brief hiatus. While the show has already been renewed for season 10, rumors indicate that with this season, the series will come to a final close.

Producers are hinting that the next season will be its last. However, according to Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro, it is still possible for the show to continue for a few more seasons.

"The reality is that maybe Season 10 is the ending point. I don't know and all I can do right now is go episode to episode and try to make each one the best that we can," said Molaro.

Lorre, on the other hand, said that the show will continue for further seasons if the fans want to continue seeing more of Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Sheldom (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg), Amy (Mayim Bialik), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar).

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Penny will say goodbye to "TBBT" because of friction with her co-star Johnny Galecki. Reports say that Cuoco says goodbye to Penny after modifying her hairstyle after the show's filming.

However, Cuoco has firmly dismissed all the rumors and said that she will continue to stay with the show till its on.
