In the livestream event of the much anticipated follow-up, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, much of what's been covered in many online reports appeared to have been confirmed. In addition, the game teases some interesting parts of the game, the Zombies mode.

Infinite Warfare has a futuristic storyline and how the Zombies mode will fit in the game is something that most gamers are interested of finding out. There are speculations that the Zombie mode will take place in the past as in the previous Call of Duty titles.

As per Games Radar, the Infinite Warfare's Zombies mode will offer something unique and different that is entirely separate from Treyarch's Black Ops series. The Zombies will probably get their own alternate universe like in Infinity Ward's last title of the franchise, Ghosts, which featured round-based horde of the undead in a Zombie mode called Extinction.

In addition, BitBag revealed that a true survival experience will come with the Zombies mode as Infinity Ward puts players in cramped-up zones carrying only limited bullets and scarce resources against the undead. So it does give gamers a sense of teamwork as they collaborate for their survival while battling diverse types of Zombies programmed to ruin game plans.

As for the multiplayer maps, many locations are reportedly located on Earth or along its orbit as well as a number places that suggest a totally different terrain from another planet or other celestial entities like asteroids or moon. Whatever the case, the new Call of Duty title will have a storyline involving space warfare.

The livestream spilled quite a lot of information regarding the game. Below is a summarized list of the details as per Game Spot:

*The nefarious Settlement Defense Front is a "brutal, fascist" group bent on controlling resource outposts in space as part of their effort to put humanity in a "stranglehold."

*There will be dogfighting sequences in space, as well as ground-based combat.

*There will be zero-G fighting that makes use of some new mechanics to be announced later

*The goal is for Infinite Warfare to feel grounded and believable; there won't be aliens.

*Brian Bloom (Dragon Age: Inquisition, Wolfenstein: The New Order) voices Lieutenant Reyes, the game's protagonist.

*The next major news event for Infinite Warfare will be E3 in June.

*At least one multiplayer map is set on a space station; additional maps take players to other planets in addition to Earth.

*Actor David Harewood (Supergirl, Blood Diamond) plays the role of Sgt. Omar.

*There will be a "whole new stable" of multiplayer items to use

The game is slated for November 4 release with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions. Activision also announced that the Infinite Warfare's premium version comes with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as a treat for Call of Duty fans.
