CD Projekt Red (CDPR) is bound to reveal more interesting details on the forthcoming The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion but not until May 10. However, some details are starting to leak out thanks to a new interview.

As per WCCFTECH, The Witcher 3 Senior Animator Jamie Bury confirmed that the Blood and Wine DLC will be filled with new creatures to slay and quests to explore. Fans seem delighted with the announcement since the previous DLC didn't have much interesting content to begin with very few new enemy types. Bury also revealed that the expansion only started its development as soon as the Hearts of Stone was completed as the game studio works only one project at a time.

According to PlayStation Lifestyles, the forthcoming and highly-anticipated expansion will clock in a total of 20 gaming hours and introduce players to Toussaint. While information is relatively scarce as of the moment, gaming land will surely get more details streaming in next week as CDPR makes its announcement on the DLC release plans and other planned titles.

Meanwhile, a roundup from Christian Post suggest that Toussaint region where Geralt will be doing his quest in the Blood and Wine expansion is reportedly as large as all of Skellige Islands. To the uninitiated, these are six islands off the coast of Verden and Cidaris in the role-playing game.

If this is the case, then it means Geralt the slayer will surely have a wider ground to cover in his exploits. The DLC environment will also come with enhanced graphics for better gaming experience. Looking at the screenshots doing rounds online lately, the new region seems to have better graphics compared to regions in the previous expansion, the 'Hearts of Stone.'

The planned release for the new content remains a secret although there have been a couple of speculations saying it would happen before E3 which takes place in the middle of June. Some rumors suggest a June 7 release- a week before E3. Hopefully, CPDR will tell us more about the DLC's additional details this May 10.
