The upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" has the attention of rumor mongers as Sophie Turner, "Game of Thrones" actress, hinted at a cameo presence of Taylor Swift in the movie.

"#FlashbackFriday to that time Cyclops and I went shopping at the mall and found our favorite singer's album (pre 1989, of course)," says the caption on Turner's photo. Known to the world as Sansa Stark, the 20-year-old actress plays the character of Jean Grey in the upcoming movie.

Dressed in 80's style, Scott Summers was spotted holding the Dazzler album. The record's cover read, "Dazzler. Sounds of Light and Fury." In the art case, one could see a blonde woman that some believe is Taylor Swift. However, it is yet to be confirmed if she will play a role in the "X-Men: Apocalypse."

According to reports, photo of Taylor Swift with the movie director and stars was just a short, friendly visit. But when Sophie Turner flaunted another image with the singer, it further fueled the controversy that she might play a cameo in the movie franchise.

In Marvel Comics, Dazzler is a mutant singer who has the power to "turn sound waves" into intense rays of light. In the album's art cover, a blonde woman was seen sporting sparkly clothes and blond hair that is very similar to Swift's look.

It is due to this resemblance that the rumors of her appearance in the movie gained traction. To know for sure, the fans will have to wait until the movie, "X-Men: Apocalypse," releases on May 27.
