The filming of the current season of "The Bachelorette" is in full swing and reports keep flowing from the sets about the suitors out to woo JoJo Fletcher.

And the latest news is that a former contestant showed up at the shoot. According to reports, the contestant is none other than Jake Pavelka, who made his debut on television during the fifth season of "The Bachelorette" in 2009 with Jillian Harris. Though lady luck did not smile on him, he became a known name and then went on to feature in as many as six reality shows.

He was on "The Bachelor" in the fourteenth season in 2010, the very next year and found love with Vienna Girardi, but it was a short-lived relationship and they split within three months. He also participated in "Dancing with the Stars" and "Bachelor Pad" among others.

And now, after 7 long years, he has returned to the show that made him a known name on TV. As per the press release of "The Bachelorette", it is said that an unexpected visitor from the past arrives on the sets and pulls aside Fletcher, leaving the other men wondering if they have got new competition.

However, it is being speculated that Jake is not coming as a new contestant to step up the competition. Instead, he is coming as an advisor to help JoJo choose the right man. He is here to help her out as it has been a long time since he appeared on the show. Also, he knows JoJo and her family personally for years.

Reports further state that the previews will show him as a kind of wild card entry to create excitement. But he is just an advisor and his presence is very likely to be limited to one episode. Also, Jake is not the only person who will advise JoJo on the show. She will also get tips from Desiree Hartsock Siegfried, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Ali Fedotowsky on the premiere.

"The Bachelorette" premieres on 23 May 2016, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
