The straightforward-talking Ryback is not the shy type when it comes to complaining. Lately, news of his displeasure with WWE just hit boiling high on Monday Night Raw when the 'Big Guy' was reportedly sent home from the tapings after getting into some beef with his employer over contractual dispute.

As per PW Insider report, Ryback asked to be taken off the program indefinitely until the haze clears out. Currently, both parties are still engaged in a negotiation but haven't reached any sort of agreement yet.

The 34-year-old big pounder's contract is due to expire this summer according to an update from the Inquisitr. His most recent programming appearance was at last Sunday's Payback event where he lost to Kalisto in a rematch from their WrestleMania 32 bout. Despite a well-received bout with the Lucha Dragons member, the former Intercontinental champion felt bad at being relegated to a pre-show event like what happened back at WrestleMania 32.

"To be quite honest, absolutely not. The last three [WrestleManias] have not been great. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail on that but it would've been nice to be on the show where both of us belong. The US Title definitely belongs on there. Hopefully next year, if there is a next year, that it will be a better experience," the Big Guy remarked in an interview with Dubai media figure Myles Beck.

"I've heard in this business hard work doesn't always pay off. So maybe The Big Guy has to go find another world where that does pay off. But you work really, really hard at something and you dedicate yourself, and you sometimes have to be told you're somewhere else."

The contract dispute now boils down to money issues which now cause a growing rift between Ryback and the sports entertainment promotions. From a business standpoint, the 'Big Guy' character isn't much of a crowd-getter let alone a very profitable one.

"WWE has tried to make Ryback's character work since 2012, when it pushed him into the championship picture with CM Punk. It just hasn't worked. This contract situation could come down to whether or not WWE feels Ryback is a profitable figure going forward...He hasn't been a draw to fans for the last three-plus years, and there may be nothing he can do to change that now," wrote WWE columnist Danny for the Bleacher Report.

If Ryback decides to leave WWE in search for greener pastures, the company may not be hurt given his unprofitable lot in the arena. As of this time of the year, WWE has lot of cleaning up to do regarding performers who aren't bringing enough bread to the table.
