Eon Productions, the producers of the James Bond movie series, has confirmed that a draft script for "Spectre" was among the stolen documents in a recent attack of Sony hackers.

"Spectre," which is set to be released in November 6, 2015, is the 24th film in the 007 series and stars Daniel Craig as the suave secret agent for the fourth time.

The company stated that the screenplay had been "illegally made public" and is concerned that it might be published by third parties, according to Newsmax.

Company officials have sent out a warning to all would-be sellers and buyers, writes Gizmodo.

The screenplay for Spectre is the confidential information of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Danjaq, LLC, and is protected by the laws of copyright in the United Kingdom and around the world.

It may not (in whole or in part) be published, reproduced, disseminated or otherwise utilised by anyone who obtains a copy of it. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Danjaq LLC will take all necessary steps to protect their rights against the persons who stole the screenplay, and against anyone who makes infringing uses of it or attempts to take commercial advantage of confidential property it knows to be stolen.

The leaked documents also revealed that Sony is concerned about the new Bond film's ballooning $300million-and-counting budget, reported CNET.

Other documents leaked included medical records of Sony employees, embarrassing email exchanges and the fake names used by stars to check into hotels.
