Kpop News: BTS special album ranks on iTunes charts overseas

BTS's new released album "Young Forever" not only dominated South Korea's music industry but also internationally. Since the release, BTS continuously shows its fame by being ranked in Top 50 on iTunes chart overseas.

Midnight of May 2 (KST), BTS officially released their special album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever". After 15 hours since the release (2:20 pm KST), the album already ranked no. 3 in Singapore, Taking no. 5 in Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand, while no. 7 in Hongkong, No. 11 in Malaysia, No. 17 in Finland, No. 27 in Sweden, No. 35 in the U.S., No. 36 in Poland. With this implication, BTS's special album has ranked Top 50 in 18 different countries on the iTunes top albums chart.

BTS's title track "Fire" also ranked high globally, taking the No. 1 rank in Nicaragua, No. 2 in Singapore, No. 4 in Malaysia, No. 5 in Thailand, No. 8 in Argentina, No. 12 in Hong Kong, No. 14 in the Philippines, No. 16 in Taiwan, No. 20 in Sweden, No. 21 in Indonesia, No. 22 in Chile, No. 25 in Finland, No. 32 in Cambodia, and No. 37 in Peru.

The song has ranked Top 50 of 14 different countries on the iTunes top singles chart. (Soompi)

Domestically, after the official release of their MV "Fire", their track slays right away on different music charts within South Korea such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, olleh, Genie, Monkey3 and Naver and also became trending worldwide.

Meanwhile, BTS are setting up for their series of promotions within the week for their album on different music programs, to be followed by their epilogue concerts that will be kicking off on May 7 and 8 at the Olympics Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.
