Quantum break has recently received a stream of bug fixes after rolling out a patch for PC version following an earlier patch release on Xbox One. The software update is intended to deal with a number of major technical issues linked to the game such the absence of quit button, frame rate, and a slew of other problems earlier identified by gamers.

With the update, frame rate should already match monitor's refresh rate plus being able to exiting the game using the quit option in the main menu. The patch should also provide fixes for other Xbox One-related in-game glitches like the bug that shuts off progress after game completion, TV screens appearing grain-y, and loss of cloud saves. The game's developer Remedy Entertainment, also modified some of the game's acts and did some fixing on audio problems as well as collision and pathing issues.

As per Tech Times report, some crashes that frequently occur in the PC version appear to have come from issues linked to memory management. In order for the game studio to act on these problems, Microsoft would need to release a Windows 10 update.

"Microsoft has identified a Windows 10 memory management issue which may cause Quantum Break to crash on some GPUs," Remedy explained as quoted by CNET. "This crash is seen more frequently at higher game settings. Microsoft plans to fix this in a future Windows Update."
