Fast And Furious 8 News And Updates: Filming to Start in 8-weeks; Charlize Theron Joins the Bandwagon

"Fast and Furious 8" is welcoming aboard Hollywood A-list star, Charlize Theron. There are many other celebrated names that have now joined the cast members of the hit Fast & Furious series. Now that the series has reached its eighth installment, they have upped the ante by adding another name to their list with Theron.

All set to play the bad guy in the "Fast & Furious 8," she just recently made an appearance in "Mas Max: Fury Road as Furiosa and also reprised her role as the cold queen in "Huntsman: Winter's War."

The other cast members to join Theron is Tormund from "Game of Thrones," who is the antagonist in the upcoming film. Clint Eastwood's son, Scott Eastwood is also set to be a part of the movie after he made a name for himself by being a part of upcoming "Suicide Squad."

According to the rumors, Tom Hiddleston is may also participate in the movie. Even the actor is open to the idea of participating in the franchise, especially since he is also a big fan of the series.

"In fact, I was just telling someone how much I love Furious 7," he said. "And they said, 'Are you kidding me?' Dwayne Johnson flexes his arm, breaks open his cast and then says, 'Daddy has to go to work' - if you don't love that, I don't know how I can appreciate you as a human being."

Meanwhile, the filming of F&F is set to begin in four weeks, as revealed by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on his Instagram account. In his post, he also explains his character, For FAST8, the character of "Hobbs" will come in like an animal - bigger, lethal, meaner and tougher than a $2-dollar steak."

"Fast and Furious 8" will release in theaters on Apr. 12, 2017 in France and Apr. 14 of the same year in the United States.
