The super hit HBO fantasy drama has entered its sixth season. Ardent fans have got an inkling of the spine-chilling events that lie ahead, but still is still a lot going in their minds.

Season one started from the vast world of Westeros ruled by noble families and the most prominent of them is Lord Eddard Stark of the House Stark in the north. He is agood friend of Robert Baratheon, the king of Westeros, who pays a visit to him along with his family to name Eddard as the new Hand of the King.

Trouble starts when Eddard's young son Bran chances upon Queen Cersei (Robert's wife), busy in passionate love-making with her twin brother Jaimie. Jaimie throws off Bran from the high tower to conceal their incest, but Bran is not killed and left crippled.

His mother Catelyn gets concerned and watches over her son day and night. One day, an assassin tries to kill him at night, but Bran's pet wolf protects him and kills the assassin. Catelyn finds a blonde lock of hair at the tower and figures out that the Lannisters are behind his son's accident. She decides to visit her husband in the King's Landing to tell him everything.

On the other hand, there is Daenerys Targaryen and Viserys Targaryen, on the Essos continent. The brother and sister duo have been rendered orphaned by Robert's rebellion, an act propelled by Targaryens' abduction of his first wife Lyanna.

The rebellion puts him in power in Westeros, but the Targaryen siblings had to run away and managed to survive because of some loyalists. The brother sells the sister to a warlord in exchange for his army and she becomes the mother of dragons and a strong contender for the throne after losing her husband.

Cersei gets Robert killed to protect the secret of her children being Jaimie's and thus, the game begins in reality for all and one.
