King of Fighters 14 Release Date and Trailer: Fighting Game to be on PS4 in August 23
Seems like the SNK have announced the King of Fighters 14 will be set for a release on PlayStation 4 in North America region this August 23. The first teaser trailer introduces numerous teams that represented in the three on three fighting game along with battle features including Max mode, Rush, Climax Cancel etc.
The second however showcases some of the characters from the roster with inclusions for Benimaru, Robert and Terry among others. There are a lot of characters in the roster with an image of all of them in the game. The final video is all about the Classic Kyo DLC costume. This is exclusive to pre-orders only so if you want this to be included for you in-game you've got to pre-order the game. The Japanese company behind the development of this game have decided to revert back to their former name to SNK than SNK Playmore.
Some of the features have been highlighted in their website. There would be a new K.O.F saga which will be continuing over the Orochi, Nest and Ash story arcs. The story has yet to be finished and comes back in an exciting arc with KOF 14. Along with this, the traditional system is back with selecting your three favorite fighters in game from the character roster.
The combination system now has something called Ultimate combos allowing players to strike up to three super special moves in the same combination for extensive damage. he newly introduced Rush feature allows even novice players to perform combos by mashing the square button. KOF XIV features a large variety of game modes such as Story Mode, Vs Mode, and a Gallery Mode for the best KOF experience ever.KOF XIV will make full of PlayStation 4's online functions such as the Online Profile and Comment features in order to foster player communication and communities.
