With possible launch of MacBook Pro at WWDC in June, Microsoft has up the ante and decided to release their Surface Pro 5 just ahead of Apple's big launch, this coming June.

As per reports, Surface Pro 5 will most probably launch just a month before Apple's MacBook Pro 2016, which means next month. However, it is important to note that this news is just a prediction and is not official.

There have also been other reports that claim that Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 may even be released sometime later this year, possibly by October and some others say that it might not launch until early 2017.

The word out there is that the reason why Surface Pro 5 will not be released before 2017 is because they want to introduce their flagship hybrid with next-gen intel processer, to be called Kaby Lake chipset. This processor, theoretically, is far superior to the current SkyLake chipset which is also referred to as the sixth gen.

So far as its display quality is concerned, rumor has it that the next Surface Pro will be equipped with 4K abilities. However, it is due to this feature, this device may be touted as a high-end hybrid laptop when it becomes available in the market. There are also rumors that this laptop will feature better battery life and would work for longer hours on a single charge.

It is important to note that all this information is only a rumor and nothing has been confirmed by Microsoft as yet. It is best to just wait and watch until the official release regarding the Surface Pro comes out, straight from the horse's mouth.
