Eminem News and Rumors: Royce Da 5'9" Talks About Em's Twitter Use

Eminem news and rumors have been centered on a hinted ninth album to be released this year. Though no update or formal announcement has been made yet, a recent Royce Da 5'9" interview revealed more details on Eminem, especially on his Twitter use, or lack thereof.

Royce Da 5'9" is known to be a close friend of the "Rap God." The two are part of the rap duo "Bad Meets Evil." In the interview with Royce, hosted Hip Hop N More, the "Layers" rapper revealed more about Eminem especially why he doesn't use Twitter.

The interviewer asked, " You're quite active on social media, particularly Twitter. But your good friend Eminem doesn't use it at all. Have you ever spoken to him about it and encouraged him to use social media?"

Royce responded emphasizing that it's probably a good thing that the "Slim Shady" doesn't tweet since he is "very, very, very crazy."

"It's probably a good idea that he's not on Twitter. He will say the most insane things you've ever read in your life because he is very, very, very crazy. People think that he's all serious now, but that's so far from the truth."

"I have never spoken to [Eminem] about it," the rapper continued. "I don't even see why he even needs to. It's a preference thing. I have fin doing it, it helps me a lot to promote my stuff on Twitter, Instagram, etc. Because I think no one's going to promote me like me that's why I spend a lot of time on it to stay in tune with what's going on. But I'm also not one of the biggest rappers that ever existed."

Em did use Twitter recently to participate in a Q & A by Royce Da 5'9" and asked about his historical performance at Lollapalooza. The "8 Mile" actor, whose account is under "Marshal Mathers" (his birth name), tweeted, "Hey @Royceda59 were you excited when I performed FACK in concert? #AskRoyce59."

The Detroit rapper responded, "Yeah, I was really excited when you performed 'FACK' over there in Argentina, in Brazil. I was over on the side jumping up and down like a fan 'cause that's one of my favorite songs that you've ever done."

News and rumors continue to spread that Eminem will have a new album released this year which, according to Morning Ledger, was hinted that 50 Cent will collaborate with Em for this new record.
