Wonder Woman has made great waves with her appearance in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and the stage is set in her favor as audiences are eagerly awaiting the "Wonder Woman" release. But with a release slated for June, 2017, there is still a long time for the female superhero movie to hit the theaters.

So, does that mean the buzz will die? Certainly not, as the producers are thinking of capitalizing on it and they have teased the film, before the planned schedule. A new image has been teased by the film's producers which highlights the origins of the Wonder Woman.

It shows that the warrior princess was raised by a group of valiant and powerful warriors, the Amazonian women of island Themyscira. The island is a secluded place lying far away from the evil eyes of the prying men and thus, allows the Greek warriors to survive and thrive in a self-governing setup. Wonder Woman aka Princess Diana is raised and reared by three women, her mother, who is Queen Hippolyta and two aunts who are the general and lieutenant in her army.

According to reports, Director Patty Jenkins will base her movie's storyline on Diana's origin and training ground to show that she stands for justice and truth, ideals that are still relevant but have become alienated due to evils in the human civilization.

Meanwhile, producers Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder have said that the movie will strike a chord with the comic's fans as well as the new viewers because it does not deviate from the source material. Also, it will narrate a complete tale and thus, there will be no place for doubts or confusion.

Snyder has further stated that, this is the best time for a film like Wonder Woman as issues of gender equality have become widely acceptable. Young girls need a female hero to look up to and Wonder Woman serves the aspiration perfectly. Deborah also echoes the view, suggesting that girls need to know that heroic women like Batman and Superman also exist and they have equally high standards of ethics and power.
