Moto G 2016 release date and rumors: The next generation of Moto G may release on June 9!

The next generation Moto G 2016 is all set to be released on a scheduled special event on June 9, as the latest news from China. The news says it will introduce one of the Moto devices earmarked for this year.

Gizmo China reported, CEO of Lenovo Yang Yuanqing reportedly acknowledged, during the launch event of the ZUK Z2 Pro smartphone, that Motorola will launch a new handset on June 9. Motorola promised that Moto G 2016, Moto X 2016 and Moto E 2016 were in the offing.

But Yuanqing did not publicize the device name to be introduced on June 9, 2016. In the past couple of weeks, the increasing rumors related to Moto G 2016 have led to an assumption that this mid-range phone is the one expected to be announced.

Rumors from various sources are also about the upcoming Moto X 2016. However, the Moto E 2016, has been on a safer side with o rumors regarding it. Earlier rumors put forward that Motorola will be introducing two variants of the Moto G 2016. One of the models, dubbed Moto G4, will be the quintessential successor of last year's version. The second model, dubbed Moto G4 Plus, will be bigger in size. The bigger version may have a feature of fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. Prominent tipster @evleaks uploaded a photo of Moto G4 Plus recently.

The International Business Times reports that a leaked photo of a prototype version of Moto X 2016 showed the handset with a Moto batwing logo located at the top left corner. In addition, the image showed a fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the display.

Spec-wise, the Moto X 2016 is believed to feature a 5.0-inch display, USB Type-C connector and a front-facing flash.

However, there is no official news apart from the rumors.
