"Survivor" is one game show that can turn heroes into monsters and well, vice versa. But it is very rare that one person undergoes the to and fro transformation and redeems himself, before the curtains go down.

Last episode gave a good view of the same and Tai Trang got the chance to redeem himself. It has really been a phenomenal journey for him on "Survivor." He entered as a lighthearted and carefree gardener who just wanted to be on the show and then he deviated. The cruel demands of the game made him one of the most hateful characters, as he turned to Jason and Scot.

He stooped to his lowest last week during the camp fire when he doused the fire, which was heartbreaking for the audiences. Well, this was a new selfish Tai and the game changed altogether. One act and he proved that for the good-natured, it might be deviation for a while, but the heart ultimately wins over mind.

The 51-year-old gardener found his moral compass during the tribal council when to the utter shock and confusion of Scot, Trai did not hand over this immunity idol. Scot was flabbergasted to say the least. He even asked Trai if he was doing it or not. And Trai just refused, saying sorry.

This was a super cool decision for Scot definitely deserved to be voted out as he had been the villain of this season. The hardened and competitive basketball player seemed to love his villain role. And he was comfortable doing those villainous things when he hid the tools and used the tribe water to put out the fire.

And credit for Tai's change of heart should also go to Auburn who refused the temptation from Scot and went with her faith. She was hopeful that Tai would do the right thing and he did. Her saying that she was positive and wanted him to be comfortable did the trick.
