"Battlefield 5" is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated game titles by EA as of this moment. Hence it makes sense if the publisher will make some announcement about the game in hopes of keeping the excitement alive and translate some of it in sales later.

However, it is important to note that EA has already announced the lineup for the event with no mention of "Battlefield 5."

As is visible on the official website, EA is all set to flaunt their "Titanfall 2" game with three other sports game at EA Play.

Even though Battlefield is obviously missing from the announcement, that doesn't mean that the game will not show up at the event since EA has already said that they plan to share more news at the EA Play events in London and Los Angeles. This leaves a window open for a potential news about the highly sought after title.

Since the event is scheduled over a period of three days in Los Angeles, it appears like a good enough time for the publisher to fit in an announcement about "Battlefield 5." Hopefully, EA will share more details about the event as the date comes closer.

Even though there is lack of information about the title, fans have been accumulating information from the rumor mill to get more details about the game. Last year, an IMDb listing, "Battlefield 5: Armageddon," was seen online which has since then been taken down. However, Gamezone was able to take a screenshot just in time for the eager fans.

However, it is important to note that there is still no official information available and it can be a while before the fans truly find out the real fate of "Battlefield 5."
