Caitlyn Jenner, recently spoke about transgender surgery in 'I Am Cait' show. It takes a lot of courage to come on a show and speak to the world about her life. However, the courage was applauded.

E! News exclusively reveals that the 'I Am Cait' star has been named a Time 100 honoree for 2016! Congratulations Cait!

The Time's magazine recognizes an annual list of most influential people in the world. The list consists of leaders, athletes, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs, activists and other icons of the moment

In Time's 100 issue, on sale Friday, transgender activist and father Wayne Maines describes the 66-year-old Olympian as a "hero" for "having the courage to come out at this stage of her life."

"Caitlyn did know the consequences of coming out," Maines writes. "Because no matter where you come from, how famous you might be or how much money you have, letting America see you in such a vulnerable way is daring and admirable-not self-serving."

He continues, "The courage that she displays is helping challenge society to change. I am so pleased that she has fulfilled her dreams and that she is now helping our children do the same."

Jenner has received many awards, and this is one among them. She has won herself the following awards.

The Cover of Vanity Fair in June 2015

The Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Awards in July 2015

The Glamour's "Women of the Year" in October 2015.

Out's 2016 Power List in April 2016

E! docu-series 'I Am Cait' tied with TLC's 'I Am Jazz' to win the 2016 GLAAD Media Award
