For now, the gamers are impatiently waiting for "Battlefield" franchise amongst all the anticipated EA titles. By that logic, it only makes sense that the publisher will officially announce the game soon so that they can capitalize on the growing hype.

According to the publisher's official website, EA has already announced the lineup for their forthcoming event. The company will roll out titles such as "Titanfall 2" and three other sports games.

It's worth noting, however, that EA already has an announced lineup for the upcoming event. As can be seen that there is still no word about "Battlefield 5," however, that doesn't mean that the game will not show up at the event at all.

EA has left a door open for surprise announcements at their EA play events where they said they will share their upcoming plans with their fans. The event will take place in London and Los Angeles.

Since the event is scheduled to happen over three days, it is possible that the publisher will fit in an announcement about the sought after title in its agenda.

Since there have been no official details about "Battlefield 5" so far, the rumors have been rife on the internet with some interesting bits for the fans.

For instance, last year, an IMDb listing called "Battlefield 5: Armageddon," was seen online with a release date of Nov 23, 2016. Even though the listing has been removed, the screenshot was already saved by GameZone.

Despite all the rumors, the game publishers have not revealed any information about the game yet. Players will have to wait for EA Play and hope to get some scoop during that event.
