Eminem news and rumors have been swirling around a potential ninth album release. Though there haven't been any confirmed details, other news has been on the song written by Eminem titled, "Renegade."

Renegade is known for being on Jay-Z's Album, "The Blueprint," that was released in September of 2001. However, there was also a track of the song going around the internet with Royce da 5'9", reportedly the "Orignal" track, reports Movie News Guide.

On Tuesday, Royce spilled the details on what the story was behind the "Renegade" track when he went on The Breakfast Club.

According to the Detroit rapper, it was originally written for him by Eminem, but Eminem gave the song to Jay after Royce decided not to use it for his album at the time

"Me and Em did the song first. We weren't going to use it. We did two records for my album that I had where I was signed to Sony," Royce told The Breakfast Club on Tuesday. "We did the song called 'Rock City,' and we did 'Renegade.' We decided not to use 'Renegade,' because we could only use one. Interscope was only going to clear him for one."

He continued, "Hov had been asking Em for a few albums to get on some stuff. Em called me like, 'What do you think about me giving this to Jay Z? Because I'm not going to keep telling him no.' We looked up to Jay Z. It was a song that was just sitting. So we took my vocals off, he sent it to Jay, and Jay put his verses in it. Now it's their song."

The song has been well known for being referred to on Nas' "Ether" where he says, "Eminem murdered you on your own s***," DJ Booth reports.

For Em, fans continue to wonder when, or even if the rapper will release his ninth album this year. Morning Ledger reports that it will be a collaboration with 50 Cent.
