'Castle' Season Update and News: Stana Katic's Exit Has Put An End To The Caskett Bond; Fans Not Excited About Season 9

A heartbreaking report, which has recently created a buzz in the media has left Castle fans to be in awe. With innumerable social media speculations, the news regarding Stana Katic's withdrawal from the show has totally put an end to the forever bonded Caskett.

Cast alterations within the drama serials are an unvarying part of the plan; actors come and go, but when it comes to the protagonists of the ABC based police procedural drama, it is definitely a bitter pill to swallow.

The excitement for the upcoming season 8 finale has catalyzed the interest of many viewers and when the news regarding the renewal of the series dropped in, the enthusiasts could not contain their exhilaration. Despite that, the frontmen of the series have decided to cut loose from Stana Katic and Tamala Jones due to budgetary reasons.

While Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic both signed a year contract, which will be completed at the end of season 8, it is claimed that the former was re-approached in order to make his way for the ninth season, but regrettably there was no sign for Kate Beckett to return in the dauntless role of a homicide detective.

Nathan Fillion along with the other marvels in the show have articulated their disappointment. The former has tweeted that she will be missed.

"Stana has been my partner all this time, and I thank her for creating the character of Beckett," the actor shared in a message posted to Twitter. "I wish her well, and have no doubt she will succeed in everything she pursues. She will be missed."

It is irrefutable that the main essence of the crime based drama positioned at the Castle Beckett-relationship. However, if there is no Beckett, there is no charm in sticking to the upcoming season 9.
