Rockstar, GTA 6 game developers, are yet to officially confirm the sixth installment of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto series. However, if the rumors are to be believed, it is already in the development phase and that the fans will be able to enjoy improved gaming experience that comes with the new generation consoles.

The gamers will get better graphics and will have more character options apart from Michael, Trevor and Franklin. The gamers will also be able to enjoy uniform hardware efficiency that one can expect from PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two that are speculated to be launched between 2018 and 2020 along with new GTA.

Another piece of buzz states that this time, GTA will also have a female character that will be voiced by famous Hollywood actress, Eva Mendez. However, Rockstar is yet to confirm this news and have already told previously that a female character may not happen.

The rumors also say that Rockstar is fishing for locations outside of US such as Tokyo to increase the game scale. However, there are other rumors saying that next GTA will take place in Columbia or Nevada.

The best thing is that with new consoles, GTA gamers will be able to use the in-game structures more in the next installment of the game. There has always been a curiosity reading the in-game buildings that could not be exploited due to limitations posed by consoles. The new ones will most likely not have these restrictions.

However, amid all these speculations, the one that takes precedence is whether or not GTA 6 will be set-up in modern times. Some rumors suggest that the game may even go back in time just like "GTA: Vice City." According to the analysts, there is a fair chance that the next installment of GTA series will go back in time. For now, the game development is rumored to have reached a high momentum and is only a matter of time when more details will be shared.
