Kdrama News: Actor Park Seo Joon got injured while filming a new upcoming drama ‘Hwarang’

On April 15, Actor Park Seo Joon rushed in a hospital due to acquired injuries during the set for an upcoming drama.

Reportedly, the actor was being injured on his neck and was delivered to Asan Medical Center.

His talent agency, KeyEast Entertainment made a statement that the actor hurt his neck while filming an action scene. Fortunately, it wasn't that serious. The agency will give further details after the exam results will be revealed.

Park Seo Joon will be resting for a while and will return to film the drama after the weekend.

After some time, KeyEast Entertainment then gave an update regarding the actor's condition. According to allkpop, the agency (KeyEast Entertainment) posted on their official Facebook page on April 15 stating that,

"Park Seo Joon was not actually injured during filming. The project he's working on is filmed in a safe environment."

The label added, "Park Seo Joon has been active in projects after his debut without any breaks, and he's currently suffering the effects of accumulated fatigue. While officially starting up filming as well as training, the burden on his health turned into an injury."

KeyEast also let fans know that there's no need to worry about the actor's condition since he's by far improving a lot, and he's currently receiving treatment and resting.

In correlation with this, it is not the first time that an actor got injured; in fact, Seo Joon's co-starred Go Ara was bitten by a horse while practicing for a scene.

Many fans of Park Seo Joon send "get well" messages and to return healthy and okay.

The new upcoming KBS drama 'Hwarang' is set to air sometime in the latter half of 2016.

'Hwarang' is the first ever historical drama to draw the tale of the Silla Dynasty'sHwarangs, it depicts the story of Hwarang (literally Flower Knights) it is an elite group of young men during the Kingdom of Silla.

Filming of the drama starts on March 31, 2016.
