Forward Dorell Wright has recently been signed in to Miami Heat in the nick of time before the start of the playoffs rejoining an excited teammate and lead player Dwayne Wade. He was seen with the team in Detroit where Heat took on the Piston for the Tuesday night's game.

"Just the energy I felt when I walked in the building was great," Wright exclaimed as quoted by Miami Herald. "It's been a long time. Somewhere I grew, as a man, as a player, as a professional. I'm just happy to be back."

For the past season, Wright had gone overseas with his skills as he played in basketball-mad China this season for the Chongqing Dragons where he averaged 24.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in all 37 games he played in the Chinese Basketball Association as reported by ESPN.

As per NBA rule, he is allowed to join the Heat for the playoffs since he hasn't been on any other team's lineup in the league after March 1. With his 'veteran leadership' owing to his previous experience with the Heat, Wright could boost Miami's Wednesday night's game against Boston- the regular season finale before advancing to the playoff stage.

"Me knowing the system and knowing these guys, and somebody that can go out there and provide shooting, defense, the things I bring," Wright said as reported by Sun-Sentinel. "I can do that with this team. I fit in well with these guys, just being around them. I think I can really help out, whenever my chances come. I know I'm not coming in guaranteed 20 minutes or anything."

Will Wright's re-signing with the Heat ever make a difference in the playoffs? Some sports pundits think so.

"He is a 6-foot-7 small forward who bolsters Miami's wing depth behind starter Joe Johnson and adds another 3-point threat," wrote Jason Lieser in his Palm Beach Post sports column.
