Eminem news and rumors seem to be swirling around the rapper's hinted new album. Though the album is not confirmed yet, fans think that it could be delayed due to Em's latest projects.

Eminem hasn't released an album in a couple years since his "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" studio album in 2013. The album instantly charted on the US Billboard Top 200 albums at number one and then won a Grammy award last year for the Best Rap Album. It's no wonder why so many are wondering when his ninth studio album will be released.

According to Morning Ledger, the new album is set to be released this year with a collaboration with 50 Cent. However, Eminem, whose birth name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has been notably focusing on other ventures and projects.

One of Slim's few tweets this year was about his work with Aqua Hydrate.

"Proud to support efforts of @AQUAhydrate in the million bottle water donation for people in Flint. More to come," tweeted the rapper.

Many of his tweets have been on "Shady Wars," which according to the Shady Records website, is "a new kind of music game that combines arcade and rhythm gameplay with lyrics from Eminem and other Shady Records artists. The free game includes eight songs, with six battles for each song. As you win battles, you will earn coins, which can be used to unlock the next song, much-needed power-ups, and other Shady characters."

Another more notable project is with his work with television productions. It was announced last year that Eminem would serve as the executive producer and music supervisor for "Motor City," a TV series based on the 2002 film "Narc."

All these projects can make it appear as if as Eminem is too busy to be working on a new album this year, but still the hope of every fan is that an announcement will be made soon.
