'Rocket League' DLC news and rumors: Physical release with a special Boxed Edition

'Rocket League' DLC, a physics-based vehicle soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix, released digitally for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 platforms on July 7, 2015 also released a version for Xbox One followed on February 17, 2016, while ports for OS Xand Linux are set to be released in 2016.

According to a report in Engadget, The independently-developed sports-action game "Rocket League" is getting a physical release with a special Boxed Edition. Gamers in Europe and Africa will be seeing the edition earlier than those in the U.S. when it arrives on June 24, while those in the U.S. will be seeing it a bit later on July 5.

In one of the three DLC series, "Chaos Run," two new cars called Grog and Ripper will be included. Each of the two cars will be getting two new Paint Types, 2 new Wheels, 6 unique Decals, two new Rocket Trails, three new Toppers and three new Antennas. reported the Tech Times 

According to a report in iDigital Times, Psyonix and publisher 505 Games said that the special boxed edition will bring new content in the form of new cars that players can choose from .

 "Supersonic Fury" will include two new Battle-Cars called Takumi and Dominus, which comes with two new Paint Types, two new Rocket Boosts, three new Antennas, five new Wheels and six unique Decals.

 "Revenge of the Battle-Cars" includes new but classic Battle-Cards called Scarab and Zippy, which also gets new Paint Types, new Wheels and others.

Apart from the new content, the game is also among the first few console games that will allow cross-platform play between Xbox One players and PC players. Diehard fans of 'Rocket League' DLC will surely have an amazing experience ahead.
